Done! Here are a few before and afters.

Of course the kitchen and bathroom are the most dramatic. I realize it just looks outdated; it's hard to really see in pictures, but I'm telling you, it was much much more than that. Dare I say uninhabitable? No offense to the college boy band that lived here.Ta da! we love our kitchen.bathroom.Max's room.
Lila's room.

The living room needed the least work - mostly ceiling, walls, baseboard removal...
You cannot 'see' smell in these pictures. And I'm more than overjoyed to happily report that the smell in this house is now, after covering every surface with "Killz" sealant, and removing the burnt insulation in the ceiling from an old fire, gone. : ) Oh, and getting rid of the gas leak too. And the carpet.
And I have to say thank you again to our contractor Josh Feyen of Fine Line Designs to whom we are eternally grateful for his amazing work, ethic, attitude and humor.
